Outdoor Classroom Day 2018: Fun in Action!

Reception - We had lots of fun collecting leaves, twigs and grass to create patterns, faces and dinner on a plate! The children recreated Monet's waterlilies using chalk and used crayons to do leaf rubbings. They also made pictures and patterns using our rainbow twigs. The fun didn't end there! We finished by going on a bear hunt. It was a lovely morning, enjoyed by all.

Year Six thoroughly enjoyed having our classroom outside today! We have been taking part in Mental Health Awareness Week, discuss our thoughts and feelings and being mindful.

Year 1

We really enjoyed having our classroom outside today. We went on a nature walk around the school, looking at what living things we could find. You would be amazed at what we did find... snails, strawberry plants, bees and even tadpoles! We also thought about how living things each have their own habitats and how these differ.
