A Visit to Jamiakhizra Mosque

The children in Year 1 and Year 2 went on a visit to one of of local Mosques. The Imam talked to us all about the Muslim faith, the traditions and celebrations. He told us about the 5 Pillars of Islam as well as showing us their Holy Book The Qur'an. We had an excellent opportunity to hear the Call of the Prayers as well as watching the 1 o'clock prayers. We had an excellent afternoon and are very thankful to the Imam and his staff for their hospitality to us all.
