Welcome to our class page. Come and look at all the exciting and fun things we have been doing in school!

Spring Term

This term we are going to be learning all about stories from around the world as well as stories from hundreds of years ago.

We will be reading all kinds of traditional stories from Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk to the 3 Little Pigs.

If you have any stories at home do bring them in and we can share them together.

Our RE focus this half term is Lent- A time to Grow and Change with Jesus. We will be listening to stories from the Gospel about how  we can follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

In Maths we are going to be looking at tens and units, learning partition a number into tens and units! Look out for our exciting pictures of what we are doing!

Spellings are given out every Monday to be learnt for a Spelling Test every Friday. Please practise these regularly through the week.

Reading Books are to be in school every day, and children should read every night at home. Please comment in the book so we can see how the children are getting on.

Mr Roscoe brough his drums into school today and all of the children in Year 1 had opportunity to have a little turn at playing them. It was lots of fun!
