Our Advent Appeal

Lent 2023

This year during Lent we have collected money for Caritas with our St Joseph Penny boxes at home.

We've also had a chocolate hamper (and a handbag hamper- donated by a local business!) for both children and parents to raise money for Bury hospice.

Our Harvest Festival!

Our Y6 children led us in our Harvest Festival assembly this year. We were delighted to be able able to raise over £300 for Cafod and Macmillan Cancer Support. We had an own clothes day, various cake sales and a coffee morning to raise funds. We also sold tins and food goods at a reduced costs to help local families.

                   Our Advent Appeal

This year we have launched our Advent appeal with Bury Homeless Project. It was a special shoe box and warm clothes appeal. The response has been amazing with our children and their families creating special shoe boxes filled with carefully chosen objects. Some were made for less fortunate children and others for the homeless or those in need. We also have have lots of warm clothes donated, including coats, scarves and even blankets and sleeping bags. We have truly embraced our school mission statement. We are Christ's hands and feet and like Jesus we look after those less fortunate than us.
