Year 4

The Bridgewater Hall Trip - We were given an amazing opportunity to not only watch the Halé Orchestra play live at The Bridgewater Hall, but to play alongside them with our recorders. What an experience it was!

After researching seasonal and locally grown vegetables, we designed and made our own soups from scratch. We all agreed that they were much tastier than the shop bought soups! Everybody in Year 4 tried the homemade soups and some were pleasantly surprised at how much they enjoyed the taste.

To start out D&T topic on ‘Cooking and Nutrition’, we evaluated existing soups on the market. The children were surprised at how tasty they were.

In October, we reflected on the meaning of family and how we can show gratitude to those who care for us. We talked about the family of Jesus and how we are all God’s children.
