I am proud to be the Headteacher of St Marie's RC Primary School since September 2020.
I trained in Liverpool and started my teaching career in 1999 working in north Liverpool at Our Lady and St Philomena's RC Primary school where I taught Y1/Y2 and was responsible for the more able and talented children, gaining accreditation in this area. I moved to St Marie's in 2005 and have been here ever since! I have taught across the year groups and spent many years as a Y6 teacher. I became deputy headteacher in 2015 and an now Headteacher.
I grew up in Bolton but have deep family roots in Bury as both my grandparents were born not far from St Marie's church and my mum grew up in Bury too (and used to attend St Marie's church as a child). I am deeply committed to my faith and this wonderfully diverse community of St Marie's RC Primary School!
