WELCOME TO RECEPTION!
Autumn 2 -
Welcome to our Reception Class page where we will share what we are learning about as well as photos of our adventures.
In RE we will be reading Noah's Ark and creating a display of our wonderful artwork. We will continue our topic of Baptism and as we move forward into Advent, learn about The First Christmas.
In RWI the children have all been assessed and are beginning to work in their groups. The children wil revsisit the first 25 sounds and begin to read and write 3 letter words with these in eg. cat, sat.
In Maths we will work with the numbers 4 and 5, where will be recognising the numeral, the amounts and count accurately up to 5 objects. We will then move on to partitioning the numbers into smaller amounts.
Our topic is Under the Sea and we will be reading lots of books about different sea creatures as well as learning facts about them.
